The Recording Studio

Known for attracting and working with top talent, Cash Money Records (Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and others) needed to create a visionary space with the top-notch technical capacity to accommodate and inspire the high-caliber artists on their label.

Our team was given full creative freedom to transform the space into five main areas: a striking entrance, recording booth, a lounge, entertainment bar and powder room.

Our client was looking for an extravagance that balanced the rawness of the music industry. It had to look as incredible as the sounds being produced within, and function for work as well as play. To achieve this vision, we used concrete, brass, marble and wood to layer in textures throughout, and set the mood with custom lighting and panelling to bring an intimate, timeless feeling.
